What is this E-squid you might say? It was an old Wes-specific version of rate-my-professor.com. The Academic Affairs Committee is trying to bring it back, because who likes sitting down on the first day of drop/add to a boring professor? BUT…..there’s a catch. We need a programmer!
We are willing to pay you, yes you, to program our new site and allow hundreds of your fellow students to avoid the painful and traumatic experience of dropping a boring class.
Required Skills/Specs for E-squid:
-Availability both on and off campus
-Ability to rate professors, courses, and departments by semester, both individually and collectively
-Ability to view ratings of professors, courses, and departments by semester, both particularly and cumulatively
-Ability to comment on professors, courses, etc., including a method to police the comments and vote them up or down as helpful or abusive
-Scale of 1-10 and comment field for a number of questions
-Easily updated course, professor, and department register through database of courses, teachers, and departments
-A suggestion box for upgrading and updating E-squid
